CANDLE Completes Preliminary Experiment With Newly Installed MultiRad350 System
A recent experiment on human lung cells with cancer was conducted by the Center for the Advancement of Natural Discoveries using Light Emission (CANDLE), using our MultiRad350 system. The experiment involved irradiating the cells with varying doses between 2 and 8 Gray to determine the optimal procedures of irradiation and the inhibitory concentration (IC50). This is a condition where inhibitors suppress 50% of the biological activities of cancer cells. The results of this pilot experiment will be used to develop further experiment sets.
Thank you to Dr. Bagrat Grigoryan for sharing this with us and welcome to the Precision family! Learn more about the CANDLE facility here.
