1-2-3 to Cesium Free: Research with X-Ray Webinar
The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Radiological Security (ORS) is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. EDT to discuss radiological security and the technical and operational considerations of replacing cesium-137 irradiators with non-radioisotopic X-ray devices for research applications with users of cesium-137 irradiators. Attendees will hear from experts in their field who have transitioned to X-ray for research and learn about incentives offered through ORS’s Cesium Irradiator Replacement Project (CIRP) to assist in making the switch to X-ray.
