Warehouse Supervisor
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, shipping/receiving, picking and staging parts for order fulfillment, monitoring inventory and the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the movement of all materials within the warehouse, shipping/receiving area, and overall appearance while ensuring to meet all safety protocols.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Supervise warehouse personnel: Lead and motivate fostering a culture of high performance.
▪ Ensure proper training and any new warehouse personnel.
▪ Ensure all items, domestic and international, are shipped on time.
▪ Ensure all paperwork for international shipments is filled out correctly.
▪ Work on shipping cost savings both domestically and internationally.
▪ Transact inventory using inventory control software.
▪ Work towards meeting and exceeding company defined KPI’s regarding Productivity, Quality and Safety.
▪ Safely and efficiently operate forklift and additional warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and product without causing damage within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.
▪ Maintain Inventory and perform cycle counts.
▪ Maintain warehouse and forklift by following good housekeeping and safety procedures.
▪ Work with suppliers to process outgoing and incoming RMAs.
▪ Ensure shipping/receiving and warehouse SOPs are current and adhered to.
▪ Create new SOPs if necessary.
▪ Performs all other duties as required to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
▪ High School Education or equivalent.
▪ 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
▪ Six sigma and/or Lean manufacturing principles.
▪ Proficiency with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
▪ Proficient in presenting information to management and employees.
▪ Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
▪ Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for inventory control.
▪ Performs all other duties as required to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
